Do you recognize yourself?

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2nd cycle diploma in engineering, agri-environment or environmental science;
  • Significant project management experience;
  • Advanced ability to deliver projects on budget and on time;
  • 8 years’ experience in the agricultural and/or agri-food sector;
  • Good interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with colleagues and customers;
  • Knowledge of best practices and management tools in corporate responsibility;
  • Ability to communicate results in a popularized manner, in the form of recommendations and concrete actions;
  • Knowledge of best practices and standards in sustainable development and sustainable agriculture;
  • Applied knowledge of various data analysis software (e.g. VBA for Excel, SimaPro, OpenLCA, ATHENA, etc.).
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and French;

Tasks

Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Responsibility, the incumbent supervises projects more directly related to the sustainable food system, from design to final delivery to our customers.

The project manager must collaborate with other members of his/her team in carrying out mandates related to the sustainable food system to:

  • Support the elaboration of a vision for the development of sustainable agri-food practices at Groupe AGÉCO;
  • Offer strategic expertise focused on implementing ambitious recommendations to influence public and private policies in the sector;
  • Plan the distribution of mandates and their deadlines according to the team’s interests and availability, in consultation with the CR and EE vice-presidencies and/or management;
  • Provide information on the progress of mandates and team management to CR and EE vice-presidents and/or management;
  • Organize team meetings to plan/adjust mandates;
  • Mobilize the team and ensure consistency of required actions;
  • Support the Talent Management team in recruitment associated with the sustainable food system team;
  • Contribute to the modeling of agricultural activities and practices;
  • Carry out project management of mandates and ensure that objectives are achieved within prescribed deadlines and according allocated resources;
  • Participate in the completion of mandates (senior analyst – relatization of LCA, technical control, quality control, strategic development of recommendations);
  • Report to recognized programs (GRI, CDP, MSCI, EcoVadis, etc.);
  • Participate in strategic customer support;
    · Represent Groupe AGÉCO at events.
